Guide
The Knowledge Hub - or KHub for short - was created with the intention of connecting the LISD community to accurate and relevant information to help everyone - including staff, students and their families - succeed in their district roles. This knowledge base makes it easy to find relevant LISD resources in a central location no matter where you are thanks to the services provided by Helpjuice.
How? KHub’s Google-like search engine makes finding information quick and easy. Every typed element of each KHub article is searchable and will help connect you to the top results most relevant to your search.
Because KHub organizes students and staff into different user groups based on their campus level and district role, access for each article is intentionally assigned to make sure everyone can see the information specifically curated for them. Even parents can see public-facing articles! Not only does this organizational system help intuitively filter out articles that do not relate to you - it also plays an important role in keeping sensitive information safe and secure.
While the Technology department has successfully provided other helpful collections of technical resources, the Knowledge Hub provides a more inclusive platform that supports a greater variety of information from even more departments district-wide. As we continue to embody Dr. Rapp’s One LISD campaign in every aspect of our day, we recognize that everyone plays an important role in our community and would like to do everything we can to prepare each and every one of them for success.
