The 1:X initiative guarantees that all student have access to the devices needed to participate. 1:X is a trademarked program based on the understanding that students will have the right device for the task at hand. The 1 represents the student and X is a variable representing the type of device(s) used simultaneously to best complete a task to demonstrate learning.

In COMS, a Site Admin User has the same access level as the Admin User as well as the ability to change an access level to Site Admin. Site Admin Users may also create an alias for a name of a list.

The term "Master Schedule" is used in Skyward to help differentiate the Section Master for the current school year from the Section Master for the future school year.

LISD provides parents access to their student's records through Skyward Family Access.
