Summary 

Webex meetings are used throughout LISD to connect staff, students and guardians. This software allows effective communication for all necessary professional and academic conversations, including meetings. The following information identifies the options available for participants to join a Webex meeting.

Participants will automatically receive an invitation email when added as an invitee in the Webex Meeting Scheduler. 

Participants can join… 

• virtually using video if they have a personal computer through the web browser by clicking on the green Join button in their invitation email
  • It may take a minute, but the option to Join from your browser will appear so participants can join without downloading the Webex app.
• by calling the phone number listed in the invitation email if they only have a mobile device or land line phone
• by downloading the Webex app if they would like to join the meeting as a guest with video access

Participants will be prompted to enter their full name and email. On the next screen, participants joining from a computer must select the Using Computer for Audio option before they click on the green Join button. Once they have joined, they will be in ta Lobby until the host starts the meeting.
