Managing Skylert Notification Settings [Submission]
LISD uses Skylert to communicate with staff and guardians of students via automated phone calls, texts and emails. This article will help you learn how to manage your notification preferences for the contact methods provided.
Sign into the Skyward Family Access website. Scroll down and click on the Skylert tab in the left-hand menu. It may take a few seconds for the screen to appear.
The next screen contains a list of Skyward Contact Information and the type of message each phone number or email address may receive. Columns with a blue checkmark indicate that the corresponding notification type will be sent to the phone number or email address on that row. Blue checkmarks can be added or removed by boxes by clicking directly on them.
Additional Text Message Numbers, Phone Numbers (that cannot receive text messages) and Email Addresses may be added directly into a blank field in the appropriate section. These additional forms of contact each have the same options available to choose what type of messages they will receive.
All additional contact information will remain in Skylert/Message Center and only be used for the indicated purposes.
Please make sure to click on the Save button in the top, right corner after making any changes to contact information.
